International Skills Diploma Seal

Jackson County Comprehensive High School has been approved by the Georgia Department of Education to offer the International Skills Diploma Seal. This recognition honors students who have selected courses with a global focus and serves as a “signal to employers and higher education institutions that a student is prepared to participate in the global economy” (Ga DOE). Students meet the requirements for this prestigious recognition if they meet academic and coursework requirements, including:

– 3 years of the same modern language
– 4 credits in courses with an international focus
– 4 extracurricular activities with a global focus
– 20 hours of community service that benefits the global community

1 capstone presentation showcasing global awareness.
This diploma seal alongside our forthcoming international baccalaureate (IB) programme* show that JCCHS is poised to prepare our students for not only national but also international opportunities.
