April Mindset Heroes

Congratulations to our Jackson County Monthly Mindset Heroes representing Jackson County High School for the month of April – Peyton Scott. He was honored for demonstrating the mindset of LIVE TO GIVE!
Peyton always finds big and small ways to help others. Each morning (even in the cold and rain) he holds the doors open for two busloads of students. In addition, he is a very positive student that kindly and formally greets all Panthers! To borrow the words of C.S. Lewis, Peyton understands that “integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.”
Congratulations to our Jackson County Monthly Mindset Heroes representing Jackson County High School for the month of April – Rosa Ramos. She was honored for demonstrating the mindset of 100% ACCOUNTABLE!
Rosa is a dedicated and hard-working individual. She goes above and beyond in all of her duties to ensure classrooms, restrooms, and hallways are immaculate. In particular, during the pandemic, she ensures that all areas are sanitized and classrooms seamlessly transition to a lunchroom and back with no disruptions. She goes out of her way to do extra things for staff and students. She helps students with lost items and is always there with a smile. She always approaches her work and kids with a positive attitude! She has always done a phenomenal job, but particularly with all of the added responsibilities of the pandemic – she truly excels at everything she does!
